Verdantips is a mobile app that helps you find sustainable restaurants near you. You can choose which of our 13 sustainability icons matter most to you and easily see which restaurants are making efforts to reduce their environmental impact in those categories. Whether it’s offering plant-based options, sustainable meat, organic produce, reducing single-use plastics, using renewable energy, and more, now you can easily choose to dine at a restaurant that aligns with your values and is helping the planet.
How does it work?
Restaurants complete a questionnaire about our sustainability icons, and, based on their answers, receive an icon for that category if it meets our thresholds.
Our aim is to showcase the efforts of all the restaurants that are doing things right and working hard to reduce their carbon footprint; however, we do not audit or certify them. That is where the Verdant community comes in! You, our trustworthy user, have the power to report (easily through the app) any discrepancies between the icons and your experience when you visit a restaurant, so we know to look at the issue in detail.
The beta version of our app is now available in Barcelona! In this version you can find the following features:
- Locate nearby sustainable restaurants in seconds
- Set your preferred sustainability values to quickly find the restaurants that best fit
- Raise an issue about a restaurant’s stated measures directly to us in the app
- Save restaurants to your Favorites list
- Navigate to a selected restaurant using Google Maps
- English language version
Features coming soon:
- Spanish language version
- Add friends and meet like-minded people in your city
- Read in more detail about the measures a restaurant is taking to be more sustainable
- Select friends you are dining out with and find a restaurant that matches all of your preferences
- Additional locations around Europe

Verdantips is a free app for iOS published in the Health & Nutrition list of apps, part of Home & Hobby.

To install Verdantips on your iOS device, just click the green Continue To App button above to start the installation process. The app is listed on our website since 2021-09-04 and was downloaded 2 times. We have already checked if the download link is safe, however for your own protection we recommend that you scan the downloaded app with your antivirus. Your antivirus may detect the Verdantips as malware if the download link is broken.
How to install Verdantips on your iOS device:
- Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.
- Once the Verdantips is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Verdantips is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
